Jeff is Back from Batam :)
Back from the 883Jia's 1st Birthday at Batam....
Still a little sore throat, a little sick, but loads of nice memories and fun at Batam....~
I must say, i love my colleagues and i love 883.
i love the comments and touching words left sincerely by all the listeners in this blog and smses at night...
Just wanna say, a big giant THANK YOU.. Thank you for safekeeping all the nicest of sweet on-air memories of Jeff accompanying you in the night show.
I'm honored to be given the chance to host for you every night. It's my good fortune to have you as supporters and listeners.
i said on the final day, "Believe in yourself always and don't give up! Everything can be done as long as you set your heart to it! "
I'll always treasure and remember this splendid experience at 883.
I'll remember all of you.

883's First Birthday @ Batam!
Woo~
This is the first time i'll be overseas with my colleagues and fellow DJs! And also, with the listeners on a tour to Purajaya Beach Resort, Batam!
Though it's quite a near near place, but at least its overseas ya! Still feel quite excited about Friday coming!
we'll be there for 3 days and 2 nights! Hope everything turns out fun and great!
for everyone who have signed up for the tour, see you there!

well, if not on my blog, surely it'll be on 883's main website and other DJ's blogs too! :P

Well, my voice is getting sick though haha, falling sick already with Flu and Cough all coming in!

Geylang Methodist Secondary School!
Just been to Geylang Methodist Secondary School this week with Youyi :)
Was a great experience to be back doing school shows again and meeting all the ke ai de students! :) Had quite abit of fun in the rather warm school hall! :)
Very glad that many of the Geylang Methodist School's students are also listening in to 883 and dedicating songs on the night show!
Jia you for the exams coming up!
Oh yes, March Holidays! Here we comeeeee!

I'm back back! So sorry for the lack of updates! have been receiving SMSes during the night show to urge me to write something over here!
Its the 4-years once Leap Day yesterday, wishing everyone happy days and great health in 2008! Happy Leap Day!
Oh yes, its gonna be quite fun soon as 883 JiaFM celebrates our 1st birthday! :)

The Chinese New Year!
I think everyone loves Chinese New Year.. On top of the 2 extra day-offs from work and studying and getting all the ang baos, its really about this "hype" and "excitement" that the new year brings.
Suddenly, everything stops. You call offices, and they tell you people will be OFF during CNY, factories close for 7 days or more etc, mass shopping for clothes, and red colored things hanging almost everywhere (at shop-houses, at buildings, at your own home etc). Its really about this community feel and mass participation that gives me the kick.
I love it when i walk on the streets and every shop is closed during daytime. On CNY eve, everyone just closes shop and goes home for dinner at 5pm. I love that.
Annually, this situation makes everyone go home. Finally, there is nothing outside for you to do. All the kids have to go home, no point meeting friends cos most shopping centers/restaurants are closed. Everyone is "forced" to annually spend some time with family. And at this moment, the New Year Celebrations is bigger than everything else. Your boss gives you time to go off, your boss wont call you, people talking politely and less car horns on the roads etc. Its really a special time when everyone suddenly shows respect and acknowledges everyone else's presence.
I spent.... 4 full-days with my family. Add CNY eve, 4.5 days. This is probably the first real "family time" in YEARS. The longest stretch I've been at home with family for the past 5 to 6 years? :( i feel ashamed.
Sigh, sometimes i do not know why we're always running around. I think maybe many people already gave up on me. Friends, loved ones, family members etc.
CNY is Over now. But i really enjoyed every moment. Too short a break for me.
Oh yes, why are the CJ-7 pictures up there when I'm rattling about other stuff ya? Becosss... I watched it with my family on...err..... Saturday..

Wanna thank everyone for the nice messages and SMSes.. :)
Yeap, i'm back on air after 2 days of MC! Took quite some time to recover from a serious sore throat! :P hope i can fully recover before the CNY comes! If not i'll miss out on those nice nice goodies already : (
Realised too that i lead a boring life.. Not many exciting or fun things to upload onto the blog. Always trying to think of stuff to write here.
What should i blog about?

Jay Concert
What did i do over the weekend?
Went to Jay's Concert with a group of friends... :)
Entertaining, high quality effects, costumes and animation video wall! :) I kinda like Nan Quan Ma Ma segments too... :)
A number of surprises too during the concert, with a whole load of instruments and talent showcase too.... And as usual, the Act Sey Jay, gekking all the Sey he can, to look cool.. heh..
Enjoyed the concert alot :)

2nd Post!
Here comes a 2nd post...
Pardon me, i really don't have the habit of blogging! Though my friends around me have blogs and sometimes i enjoy reading people's blogs, i always 坚持 not to have one!
However, i do think its quite a good avenue for people to keep in contact and know what you're doing at every moment of your life! Of course, it also acts like a diary where i can keep track of what i've done, sharing my life with the rest of the world!
SO now... WORLD, i am here on Blogspot. yay.
Let me figure out your picture picture de feature and i can try to post the pathetically little photos i have of myself... :P

Finally, after a long long wait.... here's the blog for Jefffff..... yay.. :)
Never had the habit of writing blogs so its really something new for me and sincerely hope i'll be able to update the blog as much as some of my other colleagues in 883!
